Combat Bando Grading will take place at below dates.
Sat 2nd Oct 2010 7pm at Burrells Wharf E14 3TH.
Sat 4th Dec 2010 7pm at Burrells Wharf E14 3TH.
It is a chance to demonstrate, both to Master and yourself, all that you have learn in training up to that stage, most importantly you have earn that belt through sweat and blood over the years. Grading is also the only way to advance in belt rank and thus be allowed to learn more advanced techniques.
The grading syllabus is split into a variety of sections:
* Kick, Strike, Throw, Submit Techniques with drills
* Self defence – based on practical fighting techniques (stand up and ground work)
* Form Applications – a sequence demonstrating the practical application of the forms
* Each level student also need to pass a fitness test
Higher belts will also be expected to demonstrate more advanced techniques and full contact sparring.
